It really is mostly an opinion thing, and I've seen a few Hylotl ships that were great in spite of its innate shortcomings. everything from simply adding in innate racial abilities and traits, to changing the player's ship. If you're playing with Mods? A total game changer. Now, if you're after the looks of the player-sprite? That's entirely a personal preference. (very, very, very much a "middle of the road" ship, nothing really good going for it, except not being Hylotl.) Starbound takes place in a two-dimensional, procedurally generated universe which the player is able to explore in order to obtain new weapons, armor, and items, and to visit towns and villages inhabited by various intelligent lifeforms. The Glitch ship is sort-of tied with the Avian, oddly laid-out rooms, but it has style.Īnd the Human ship manages to be odd in its own "special" way. Starbound is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Chucklefish. The Apex ship is decent, but somehow manages to do it blandly. The Avian "pyramid barge" has poor arrangement, ( and the textures chosen for it don't work all that well with the Hylotl, even if it was "intended" to mirror their high-tech cities)
The Hylotl ship got screwed hard, the least amount of space, and the rooms are all poorly shaped/arranged. (for all that it is "supposed" to be the least-broken parts of other crashed ships welded onto the starter, it ends up with the overall best layout, and most total blocks of useable space) Aye, if you're most interested in the ship:įloran have the literal best ship in the game.
